social network – a dedicated website or other application which enables users to communicate with each other by posting information, comments, messages, images, etc.
e-mail- messages distributed by electronic means from one computer user to one or more recipients via a network.
Facebook- Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them.
Twitter- a series of short, high-pitched calls or sounds.
web site – a location connected to the Internet that maintains one or more web pages.
Blog- a personal website or web page on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis.
e-learning- learning conducted via electronic media, typically on the Internet.
e-commerce- commercial transactions conducted electronically on the Internet.
smart phone- a mobile phone that is able to perform many of the functions of a computer, typically having a relatively large screen and an operating system capable of running general-purpose applications.
iPod- a small electronic device for playing and storing digital audio and video files.
tablet pc- a small portable computer that accepts input directly on to its screen rather than via a keyboard or mouse.
information super high way- an extensive electronic network such as the Internet, used for the rapid transfer of information such as sound, video, and graphics in digital form.
